Hip Tag #695….he has a freezebrand, so I was able to look him up and learn that he was foaled in PA, changed hands multiple times, and wound up in NY before finding himself at New Holland. He is wearing road shoes which means he was likely pulling an Amish buggy up to the point when he was dumped.
He was the calm amid the chaos at the auction. Stoic and quiet, and as I have said before, he could have easily slipped away without anyone noticing, but for some reason he caught my eye. His name is “Noble Message”.
Since I started my journey of horse rescue, I often pray that I’m on the right path….and here I was…drawn to a horse who would bring me a message that I am exactly where I’m supposed to be.
And all of this at the time of year when we celebrate an angel bringing a message to the earth that a miracle was about to occur in the form of a baby born in a stable.
